C'est un livre destiné aux anglophones pour l'initiation à la langue et à l'écriture japonaises qui donne aussi une perspective culturelle de la langue intéressante pour toute personne curieuse du Japon. Par une construction ludique et amusante il permet de se familiariser avec de nombreuses situations courantes de la langue japonaise. Le livre en français "Invitation au japonais" est un livre dont les ventes se maintiennent à un bon niveau depuis des années. Il continue de répondre à un besoin et n'a pas d'équivalent. Their personal experience, their scientific training and their pragmatism enabled them to draw up the vademecum which they themselves wished to have.
